How we prove a part is right before it leaves the floor, and what paperwork comes with it.
ISO 9001:2015
Our quality management system is registered to ISO 9001:2015. It governs how a job is reviewed, planned, machined, inspected and released, and how a non-conformance is recorded and corrected.
Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is interpreted per ASME Y14.5. Where a customer requires a formal first article, we report it in the AS9102 first article inspection format.
Our current certificate of registration is issued by QAS International and can be downloaded below or sent with any quote.

Inspection
How parts are checked
- Method 01
CMM inspection
Coordinate measuring machine with a 35 × 40 × 24 in range, used for final dimensional verification and GD&T evaluation per ASME Y14.5.
- Method 02
First article inspection
A full first article is measured and documented before a production run is released, reported in the AS9102 first article format where required.
- Method 03
In-process control
Operators check critical features at defined points in the machining sequence so a drift is caught at the machine, not at final inspection.
- Method 04
Dimensional reports
Written reports listing each measured feature against its drawing nominal and tolerance, supplied with the shipment on request.
- Method 05
Material traceability
Mill test reports are recorded against the job so the material in a delivered part can be traced back to its heat number.
- Method 06
Certificate of conformance
A signed statement that the parts were manufactured and inspected to the drawing and purchase order requirements.
